This episode follows the preparation and procession of the image of San Pedrito, beginning with a private ritual carried out by women of the Hermandad, who are the only ones entrusted with changing the saint’s garments. From the streets of Chimbote, the procession moves toward the bay, where the image is transferred to a small boat and taken out to sea. For several hours, boats filled with fishermen and devotees accompany San Pedrito across the water in a maritime procession that reflects the community’s faith and connection to the ocean.

Through interviews with the parish priest of the San Pedro church and a former president of the Hermandad, the episode explores how this tradition continues to unite generations of fishermen and residents of Chimbote.
